Dave and I just got back from mailing our dossier to Julie out in Oregon! What a relief that this mound of paperwork is on its way! Julie and the Northwest Office should receive it by 3 p.m. tomorrow. We expect that it will be sent out to Colombia sometime next week or the week following New Years. This will all depend on how fast the turnaround time is in the Northwest Office. The other detail that we are keeping in mind is that the ICBF will most likely not begin to handle all of this paperwork until after the New Year.
We are at peace with all the details. Our biggest desire was to get our dossier in the mail before the upcoming Christmas and New Year holidays due to the fact that some of our paperwork is time sensitive. It we waited until after the holidays, we would most likely need to renew some paperwork before even submitting it to the ICBF. We know that these renewals are coming, but at least now have the peace of knowing that Colombia will begin to review and translate our documents before these are needed.
