And It's A Race To The End!

I (Sheila) cannot wait until the weekend arives! Just 8 more hours of work between now and 3 beautiful days off, and I can't wait! Dave and I continue to plug away at the miles! (I must share that my darling husband is doing an amazing job at leading in this challenge! I am so very encouraged and challenged by him!) We have a little over a week until the end of the month and look forward to trying to knock off as many miles as we can between now and then!

I wish I had more to say about our adoption, but there has been no more updates for us to share. We continue to wait expectantly for a call or email that would indicate where we are in the in-country process. I keep reminding myself that silence is ok. The last we heard, Dave's birth certificate arrived in Colombia and was being reviewed along with the rest of our paperwork. I told Dave that the only thing I hoped to have happen for my birthday this year was some confirmation of progress with our adoption! We'll see!
