Oh happy day! After speaking with Julie on Monday, the final milestone for us in proceeding to next Saturday was receiving, by mail, our passports stamped with the visas required to do our adoption in Colombia! I cannot tell you how many times Dave and I checked the UPS site to see if the return tracking number we received would bear any evidence of our passports heading home! LOL! Well, yesterday they arrived here safely and with the correct information! Yeah!
All told, we have some paperwork to copy this weekend; no big deal. I have a few things I am sewing for Jonatan's room and will hopefully have those done this weekend. We will try and tackle our spring flower gardening and mulching this weekend as well as some general cleaning in the house.
Tomorrow morning, we will visit with Dave's Mom. Over the course of this week, the cardiologist changed some medication used control the rate of her heart. The earlier crazy heart rates...either way high or way low appear to now be gone...and such an answer to prayer. She has been moved within the hospital to work on some physical and occupational therapy to see how much recovery she can do from the stroke. In the meantime, Dave's Father has been looking into options for Mom's care following her hospital stay. Tomorrow morning, the three of us will get together to talk over some of the options, and invite your prayers for God's guidance and wisdom in the decisions that Dave's Dad and Mom face for the future.
