Round 2!!!

Just a quick update to keep everyone in the 'know.' Dave and I ventured downtown this morning to the local police precinct to do a secound round of fingerprints for the FBI. Our current set will expire in the end of February, so it was about time to get the second set started so that we do not have this hold up the process that continues in Colombia.

This second trip didn't prove to be near as eventful as the last. =( No prisoners being hauled into cells or anything like that. In fact, there was so little going on that we actually endured a little 'all-in-fun' harrassment from the officer who did our fingerprinting.=) She remembered us from our first visit, gave Dave a hard time about washing his hands for too long (who knew this was even possible...working in the hospital, we are usually concerned with washing longer. =)..), and un-tactfully (if this is a word) told me how a mess my nails were...ha! She then went on to say that she needed to watch what she said or they would probably send her back to 'senstivity' class...oh my...this woman was pretty funny! At any rate, we had a good laugh and were just as delighted to not spend too much time in jail. =)

We have not heard any further details concerning our adoption through our agency, although continue to rejoice with other families who are beginning to receive referrals for their children. We will most surely keep you posted.
