OK, Here Goes!

A fellow blogger and adoptive parent, Wendi, had been Tagged through her blog, and invited others to copy and paste the following questions to their own blogs (with, of course, our own answers)! So, here we go:

1. What is your occupation? Clinical Assistant on a Cardiac Telemetry Unit
2. What color are your socks right now? White
3. What are you listening to right now? The whistle of a radiator heating the room
4. What was the last thing you ate? Mexian cactus salad
5. Can you drive a stick shift? Yes
6. If you were a crayon, what color would you be? Definitely blue!
7. Last person you spoke to on the phone? Vicki, a friend from work
8. How old are you today? 32, just shy of 33 =)
9. Favorite drink? Frozen Mocha
10. What is your favorite sport to watch? Soccer or any adventure sport like Kayaking, Rock Climbing, etc.
11. Have you ever dyed your hair? Does "Sun-In" count?
12. Favorite reality TV show? Hmmmm...hard to say...CSI (the original), Survivor, or Grey's Anatomy
13. What was the last movie you watched? The Guardian
14. Favorite day of the year? The day we hop in the car to head out for our next vacation adventure...(past trips have included backpacking in the White Mountains of New Hampshire, sea kayaking off of the Virginia coast, day hike in the pine barrens of New York, caving in Pennsylvania, white water rafting in West Virginia and Pennsylvania...oh I only wish there was more vacation time...sigh)
15. What do you do to vent anger? I need to do something physical...going for a long walk to clear my thoughts and get perspective is probably the best one...second to that is housework
16. What was your favorite toy as a child? Ummm...I think they were actually Tonka trucks and G.I. Joe figurines...(I was definitely a tomboy!)
17. What is your favorite, fall or spring? Fall...perfect weather for hiking and leaf watching!
18. Hugs or kisses? Hugs and kisses from my wonderful husband! As for everyone else, depends on whether I feel 'huggy'
19. Cherries or blueberries? Blueberries fresh-picked off a New Hampshire/Maine mountain-top in August!
20. Do you want your friends to email you back? I would love that!
21. Favorite dessert? Fresh fruit (especially pineapple, strawberries, and mangoes!)
22. Who is least likely to respond???? Not sure!
23. Living arrangement? We own a house and have lived here 4 years now, although Dave has owned the house much longer...our first home was actually an apartment at the summer camp I worked for
24. When was the last time you cried? A couple days ago
25. What is on the floor of your closet? Not sure! It would take some time to find it! =)
26. Who is the friend you have had the longest that you are sending this to? Posting this to other blog friends
27. What did you do last night? Worked
28. Favorite smells? Outside of thai and latin cooking...Big Mama's biscuits, and fresh homemade apple pie
29. What inspires you? Other people being true to the persons they were created to be
30. What are you afraid of? Not being true to the woman God created me to be
31. Plain, cheese, or spicy burgers? Cheese and spicy burgers, by far!
32. Favorite breed of dog? Any Humane Society or shelter breed!
33. How many years at your current job? just over 2
34. Favorite day of the week? Hard to say, that changes from week-to-week...although it would have to be my day off...when Dave, Fawn (our shelter breed), and I get to go on weekly adventures to the Appalachian Trail or local footpaths in the area
35. How many states have you lived in? Two, if you count living out-of-state over my summers during college at a summer camp in Maine
36. Celebrity crush? I will have to get back to you on that one!
37. Ever driven a motorcycle or heavy machinery? My father's four-wheeler and our camp's front loader/back hoe(sp?)
38. Who is your favorite NFL team? Sorry, not my cup of tea. =(
39. Do you have a house phone that is not cordless? Yes
40. 10 inches of snow or 100 degree weather? 100 Degree weather!
